Maritza Montano, Ph.D. is a Board Certified and Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. She earned a Doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology, specializing in mental, emotional, and psychological disorders. For more than two decades, she has devoted her life mentoring and transforming the lives of numerous people by giving them hope and inspiring them to change. Dr. Montano is the CEO and Founder of the Carnation Queens Organization, an organization dedicated to educating and empowering women from all walks of life. She has devoted her time to mentoring and encouraging both women and men to become self-driven and independent.
Dr. Montano was born in Cuba and raised in the United States. After losing her husband to cancer, she continued her journey and decided to write this book to help and inspire others to grow personally and interpersonally. Her expertise in the mental health profession and her personal life story coincide with her teachings. A writer with a compassionate heart.
